01Who May Play
You need a Steam account in good standing to play. The Game is not intended for children under 13, or under the minimum age of digital consent in your country. If you are a minor in your jurisdiction, you may only play with the consent of a parent or guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf.
02Your Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and play the Game for your own entertainment. The Game is licensed to you, not sold.
You may record, stream and publish video of your own gameplay, including on monetised channels. That permission does not extend to redistributing the Game itself, its assets, or its code.
03What You May Not Do
- Reverse-engineer, decompile or modify the Game, except where the law expressly permits it.
- Tamper with save files, memory or network traffic to alter progress, currencies or purchases.
- Use external cheats, bots or automation tools against the Game or its servers.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to our servers.
- Sell, trade or transfer your account, your progress or your virtual items.
Automation features built into the Game itself — such as auto-clicking or auto-progression that you unlock or purchase in-game — are part of the Game and are always allowed.
04Purchases and Virtual Items
The Game offers optional purchases made through Steam. Payment is handled entirely by Valve; we never receive your payment details.
- Virtual items and currencies are licensed, not owned. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money or anything of value outside the Game, and cannot be sold or transferred to another player.
- Consumables are used up when you spend them and are not refundable once used.
- Time-limited items — such as premium packages sold for a set number of days — expire when their period ends. Buying the same package again while it is active extends it; buying a lower tier while a higher one is active grants no additional benefit, and the Game will tell you so before you buy.
- Permanent unlocks stay attached to your account for as long as the Game’s online services operate.
- Balances live on our servers. Currencies that we manage server-side are held against your Steam account. If your account is closed or terminated, any unused balance is lost.
05Refunds
Purchases made through Steam are subject to Valve’s refund policy, and you should request refunds through Steam rather than from us.
If you live in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content. That right ends once delivery has begun with your agreement, which is what happens when a virtual item is credited to your account immediately after purchase. Your statutory rights in respect of faulty or misdescribed content are not affected.
If something you paid for was not delivered, contact us and we will put it right.
06Changes to the Game
Clicker Ore is a live game. We may add, change, rebalance or remove features, items, prices and content, including adjusting how much a virtual item is worth in gameplay terms. We may also stop offering a product for sale. Items you have already bought remain in your account, but their in-game effect may change as the Game is balanced.
If we decide to shut down the Game’s online services entirely, we will give reasonable notice in the Game and stop selling virtual items before doing so.
07Save Data and Progress
Your progress is stored on your device and, where you have enabled it, in Steam Cloud. Some data — balances, entitlements and purchase records — is held on our servers.
We keep backups of server-side data and take reasonable care of it, but we cannot guarantee that local save files survive hardware failures, reinstalls or cloud sync conflicts. Deleting your local save or resetting your progress in-game is permanent and cannot be undone by us.
08Online Features
Some features — purchases, leaderboards, daily rewards and events — need an internet connection and our servers. The rest of the Game is playable offline. We may take services down for maintenance, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free online availability.
09Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, particularly by manipulating progress, currencies or purchases, or by attacking our services. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will warn you first and give you a chance to put things right.
If your access is terminated for a breach, you lose access to your account’s virtual items and balances without refund. If you believe a suspension was a mistake, email us at the address in section 14 with your Steam ID and we will review it.
You may stop playing at any time by uninstalling the Game. To have your server-side data deleted, see our Privacy Policy.
10Ownership
The Game and everything in it — code, art, audio, text and trademarks — is owned by us or licensed to us, and is protected by copyright and other laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers those rights to you.
11Disclaimer and Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Game is provided “as is”, and we do not warrant that it will be free of faults or interruptions.
We are liable for damage caused by our own intent or gross negligence, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, and for anything else that cannot be excluded by law. Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the Game and its virtual items in the twelve months before the claim arose.
If you are a consumer, you keep all the rights your local law gives you, and nothing in these Terms limits them.
12Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. Changes are posted on this page with a revised date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will notify you in the Game before it takes effect, and continuing to play after that means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not accept them, you should stop playing and may request a refund through Steam if you are still eligible for one.
13Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts of Türkiye have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings there.
